eTIMS Exchange Log
Every request ERPJS makes to the eTIMS intermediary and its response: what was sent, what came back, how long it took, who started it. People's actions on the queue — «Send again» and «Resolve unknown result» — are recorded here too. Only the system writes to the log.
Where to find it: Modules → eTIMS → Registers → eTIMS Exchange Log
A worked example
Approving invoice 77 produces two records:
| Time | Invoice | Action | Success | HTTP status | User |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 10:00:01 | 77 |
AddItemsListV2 |
✓ | 200 |
cashier |
| 10:00:01 | 77 |
AddSaleV2 |
✓ | 200 |
cashier |
First the items are registered, then the sale itself; a credit note is AddSaleCreditNoteV2. A record holds the full request and the intermediary's full response. The API key is not in the log: it is cut out of the request and the response before they are written.
People's actions are resend («Send again»), resolved: in eTIMS and resolved: not in eTIMS («Resolve unknown result»), with the login of whoever clicked. The resend row is written after the attempt: «Success» means the document went to eTIMS; otherwise «Error» holds the reason, and if the attempt never reached the intermediary (a closed account, missing codes) it has no other rows.
«User» is whoever started the attempt: approved the document or clicked «Send again». For retries the system makes by itself on a schedule, the field is empty.
Typical situations
A document was not sent, and the error in «eTIMS Receipts» is unclear. Open its records here: «Response» shows exactly what the intermediary said, and «HTTP status» shows 401 (wrong key), 404 (wrong URL), 5xx (server busy — the system will retry by itself).
The VAT amount in eTIMS differs from the invoice by a few shillings. ERPJS does not send VAT amounts to eTIMS: for each row the request carries the VAT-inclusive price, the quantity and the tax type, and the VAT is calculated from them on the eTIMS side. If «Document VAT by VAT code» is switched on in «Invoice Setting», the invoice VAT may differ from the sum of the row VAT by rounding. ERPJS compares only the total including VAT with the document: a difference beyond rounding — the document is not sent («eTIMS: invoice … total … differs from the request total …»). The row prices the document went with are in «Request».
