Viber Subscribers
Cards of people who wrote to the company's Viber bot or subscribed to it, with the whole conversation. You can reply from the card — the message goes out on behalf of the bot.
Where to find it: Modules → System → Registers → Viber Subscribers
The register works once the bot is connected in Viber Config.
Where the cards come from
The system creates the cards itself. As soon as a person subscribes to the bot or writes to it, Viber notifies ERPJS, and a card with their details appears in the register. On subscription the line "SUBSCRIBED SUCCESSFULLY" appears in the conversation. Later messages from the same person are added to the same card, and their name, language and country are updated with every message.
For customers to be able to write, share the bot's link with them.
Subscriber card
- Subscriber Id, Name, Language, Country, Api version — data sent by Viber. They cannot be changed.
- Comment — your note about the subscriber.
- The conversation table — newest messages on top. Sender is the subscriber's name or "Bot" for your replies. Only messages with text are shown: a sticker or a picture without a caption does not appear in the table.
How to reply
Enter the text in the Type message: field and press Send. The message goes out with the bot's name and avatar from the setting, and a "Bot" line appears in the table. Open cards refresh the conversation themselves when a new message arrives.
Typical situations
"Message not sent: the bot is not configured". In Viber Config the bot is not enabled, or one of the Token, Bot name, Https base url fields is empty.
"Message not sent: this card has no chat". The card was created by hand with the New button: it has no subscriber Id, so there is no one to write to. You can reply only from cards that the system created.
The message did not go out, and the text stayed in the field. Viber refused delivery, for example because the person unsubscribed from the bot. You do not need to retype the text: once the cause is fixed, press Send again.
A person unsubscribed, but the card stayed. This is by design: the system does not store unsubscriptions, and the card with the conversation stays. Viber will not let you write to someone who unsubscribed.
